Three Fundamental Techniques in handling people

Three Fundamental Techniques in handling people
Dale Carnegie

Technique 1: Don't Criticize, condemn or complain.
Quote: “If you want to gather honey, don’t kick over the beehive.”
Reflection: This quote means that if you want to get something, you should not go over and destroy something to try to get it. It May work at times but you must not overtake it, manage it and control it to get what you want. Be patient, calm and considerate. Don’t push others to what they do not want to do because you want it. Make sure they are interested in it as much as you and allow them to give you their honey rather than kicking them over.

Technique 2: Give honest and sincere appreciation
Quote: “The big secret in dealing with people”
Reflection: This means that we have to appreciate the person we are putting up with. We mustn’t make them feel insignificant to us. They should be put to feel like good friends to us and to make them feel better than what others make them feel like if others are disrespecting them.

Technique 3: Arouse in the other person an eager want.
Quote: “He who can do this has the whole world with him. He who cannot, walks a lonely way.”

Reflection: Show that person you are interested in talking to them, not interested in the conversation being over. Do not make them feel you are bored and not in the conversation. Show them that what they say makes you even more interested rather than side tracked.

Reflection: These techniques are here to guid us to deal with people and show and interest. I am greatful for these tips to help me deal with people i at times wouldn't know how to. I will try to apply these tips into my daily life whenever i meet and need to deal with someone. These tips will help me feel better and not like a complete meanie.
