The 10 Keys to Personal Power
Key 1: Clarity
“Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or
have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you’re going. If you do
not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for
others who do.”
Reflection: This means that we should have all the goals we want for our lives to be set. We must set goals to be able to prosper and make it in life without having to work under people who do have goals.
Key 2: Competence
"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."
Reflection: The harder we work the better we get. We cannot grow as people if we do not work hard on something, we cant improve if we do not practice. We cannot miss those opportunities we must take them all the way.

Key 3: Concentration
“Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself 'Is this the best use of my time?' before you start anything.”
Reflection: This means that we should use our time wisely and make sure whatever we are doing is the best use of our time. Do not waste it on something that is meaningless to us. We need to be fed knowledge and learn new things and if the thing we are wasting our time on does not help us, we should stop doing it right away.
Key 4: Common Sense
Reflection: We should not let things stop us, we need to train our minds to believe you can achieve anything we put our mind to. We have to think things through before we act so we have our minds trained. We must listen to our intuitions to be able to understand what it is we want to do and not let the setbacks hold us, but to teach us.
Key 5: Creativity
"Expect the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most creative ask the most questions."
Reflection: People who ask the most are the most creative to ask the questions. We are all geniuses and should not hold ourselves back. Move forward and ask don't stop because of fear or any other reason.
key 6: Consideration
"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."
"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."
"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you'll be the nest educated person in history."
Reflection: Always think about things with deep thought. We must develop skills to be better at anything we want. Such as with speaking and listening. If we practice something, we can become very educated such as learning a word everyday for 5 years.
key 7: Consistency
"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work."
"Be consistent in your relationships, your family, friends, your boss, your work. Be the person that people can depend upon. That if you say you'll do something you do it."
Reflection: Always remain consistent. Never change or else people will assume something is going on and they will not like the change. Staying consistent shows everyone you are dedicated to it and are not just in it for fun.
Key 8: Commitment
"No success is possible without commitment. The ability to yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."
"Become totally absorbed in our work. Be totally committed."
Reflection: We should remain committed to your work. If we are committed we are able to get work done. If we are not committed we will not get work done.
Key 9: Courage
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."
Reflection: We should not fear this because it will cause us to feel discouraged and not want to fall through what it is we want to do in life.
Key 10: Confidence
"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again."
Reflection: This means that the only way you become confident is by doing things over and over again, gaining the experience and making yourself more used to what you are doing and more confident you are able to get the job done.
